I know you want to know exactly why raising a white family there is horrific. You must know how incredibly racist and xenophobic they are. I've always wondered what he expects of his children over there. I mean I don't imagine that any Japanese will ever consider them Japanese or that they will have much in the way of marriage prospects who aren't also whites. If they enter into any profession I assume they'll be hamstrung about as much as blacks are either now or even worse from earlier decades. Seems like he cares more about his own fulfillment than his children's futures. Can they even own property? I'm pretty sure immigrants can't but can immigrant children own property?
