I think if you look at this world and see some of the ****ed up, petty, greedy and horrendous things that continuously happen it's hard not to be jaded. Even if it's just a little bit.

Eh, I've never been one to let negativity rule my life or make me super jaded. I guess it's the neo-hippy part of me I never got rid of from back when I was homeschooled.

Just, like, make the most of it man!

Even then, I think having to read and see the effects of some of the ****ed up things humans, governments, societies, etc. have perpetuated through our history, and sadly even the present, sets off some angst that people just can't shake.

I know a guy who hangs around my circle of friends a lot who randomly went on this rant about how we need to go on a mass genocide of Muslims. His claim is that the Quran encourages cousin on cousin relationships which has profoundly lowered the IQ of their gene pool. There for, they are genetically inferior and a hazard to the human race if they continue to procreate, according to him. Just knowing people like that exist is upsetting on it's own. Knowing that it's a shared sentiment among groups of people is even worse.

You know man

You getting drunk and dissing people you barely know for how they dress or what bands they like like it’s a personal affront to you really shows how you don’t know ****ing ****

fall on your ass in life and you might be surprised who picks you up man

You judging people you don’t know because they wear whatever they got for Xmas two years ago because they don’t give a **** because they’re caring for their mom with cancer or their dog’s eye surgery or walking to work or whatever

Your judgment is so ****ing superficial and you don’t wear it well

You’re acting like another sort of redneck or church elite judging people because you wear a different a uniform / a uniform that represents a tribe that was already dead when I was your age anyway - not that it matters wear what you want but you’re not smarter or better than anyone

are you a socialist / an anarcho syndicalist? learn to love your peeps dude

That explains the conservatism.

You're wearing a uniform too, you moron. How do you fail to see yourself as a shallow poseur?

Did you know there's a hippie in Ayreon's Into the Electric Castle? He's really cool. I bet you would like him.

I know, one day you're advocating for the environment and the next you want to turn the US into an ethnostate! Life is crazy.
