Arby's is about as hit or miss as BK. I think that their bad rep comes from them trying to fit in with the burger drive thrus without doing much to differentiate themselves, so they have an uncanny/alien quality to their food.
I guess they staked their reputation on people’s interest in sliced roast beef instead of burgers and it didn’t pan out. Since they decided to call themselves “Arby’s” it doesn’t leave a lot of wiggle room for change.

It doesnt help that their roast is kinda gross. Actual roast beef could have been game changer.
