If you have a regular GP you see, they're usually a bit better for stuff like that. The GP I've been seeing since I was a little kid is a solid man, he actually helps you with your problems and he's hesitant more than anything to give pills unless you really need it.

The dude diagnosed my burst appendix in 20 seconds. He wasn't around so I had to see other doctors before that, and I got cattled around for two weeks being told I was ill with a nasty strain of flu. Along with the surgeons and all the medical stuff, I owe them my life.

... if they're in it for the money, yes. Believe it or not, there are a lot of people out there who become doctors in order to help people!

I understand that part but to get into the profession it just doesn't happen for free. The amount of school loans the amass in the time they enter college to finishing up med. school they need the money regardless of their true intentions of wanting to help people.

...Again, depending on the country you studied in. The costs to study in America are phenomenal. in the UK, your Student loans are a) Tax deductable and b) only start being paid back once you're earning over a certain amount of money.

In Ireland, we haven't HAD student Fees for some time; I'm going to be leaving Uni with no debt, so there isn't the same incentive to make money at the expense of your patients.

Malaysian medical student fees in government universities are all subsidised, most of them need not pay back their student grants even - I mean, the government won't issue summonses for the fees from the students once they graduate

Just played a game of football with some mates. My team lost 8-0, it's our eighth defeat in nine matches. I made one shocking tackle which didn't help relations between myself and other team members and our whole team fell out, resulted in me walking out. What a total disaster!

Haven't really started my day yet. Fed the animals, got some water and ate some trail mix in bed. Might play some WoW later.

Woke up, took the dogs out, facebooks, blogged, ate lunch, and now just sitting around enjoying a lazy sunday.
