Alright, so like, **** my manager at Burger King. This week, without asking or even telling me, she extended three of my shifts. I had to find out on Monday when I tried getting of at 11am (when I was supposed to get off), and the manager on duty (not Mrs. Bitchface) told me that I actually got off 1pm. WTF?

When I checked my schedule to see what was up I see that Mrs. Bitchface had written over the original time and initialed next to the change. For Tuesday and today as well.

Mrs. Bitchface had asked me to come into work on my days off, or stay late on my shifts, but she's never just changed my schedule without even so much as a phone call to tell me. Am I wrong in thinking that shows a basic lack of respect?

So today, the first day I've worked with her all week, I asked her about it and at first she tried to pretend that she didn't know what I was talking about, and then walked off when I had to make a sandwich without bothering to answer or ask me anything. Finally I managed to talk to her, and told me straight up that she could change my schedule whenever she wanted and didn't have to tell me about it. And when I got just a tad heated about it, she threatened to reduce my hours. Am I wrong in thinking that shows a basic lack of respect?

Now, I actually asked her a while back to reduce my hours so that I could concentrate more on my schoolwork, and she was cool about it. But over the last two or three weeks she's given my longer shifts, had me close on a day I told her I had school **** to do, and now I only have one day off a week. So when she tried to get me to back down with by threatening my hours, I just said, "Cool," and that was the end of the conversation.

After that I wasn't rude to her or anything and I did my job just like every other day, and yet she sent me more than three hours early. On a Friday. A busy ass ****ing Friday. I get the feeling that Mrs. Bitchface is going to be petty about this.

Not trying to start workplace ****, so I'm not gonna make waves unless she really becomes a problem.

It was only the once, and I've got a guy I can cop from now. Kinda bums me out, cause we've been really, really cool up till now.

Yeah, I'm not gonna do that anymore. It wasn't exactly the smartest thing I've ever done. Last week I got a little too tipsy since I'd had a few before work as well, and almost got found out by another manager. I think she knows I was, but isn't worried about it so long as it doesn't become a thing.

Not the same manager as Mrs. Bitchface. And I've been drunk at the store when Bitchface was there, but I was sharing my beer with her, and we've smoked weed in the parking lot after closing the store as well. I think we have mutually assured destruction.

Like I said, I have no intention of starting needless **** like some vindictive weasel, and I am also not a snitch. I'm hoping this all blows over in a week or two at most, but at least I've made it clear that I'm not gonna be some chump (if it doesn't then my manager is probably someone I don't want to work with anyway). And I've already got the manager I work with 90% of the time on my side, so ****'ll be chill most days of the week since I only work with Bitchface one day a week at most.

I don't know. I usually work mornings and she only works mornings either once a week or once every two weeks. Today she worked Friday, but I don't know what her usual morning schedule is. Call in any morning though. I'll be their five days a week, and the usual opening manager will likely be rude to you in a way that you can't prove but will definitely recognize. Nothing better than a wage slave manager who hates customers.
