I'd been struggling financially, and unable to afford a vehicle I was spending 3.5 hours a day simply bussing back and forth to work. I'd considered renting out half of my home, but my introversion and my eclecticism (and refusal to own a television), made finding a suitable occupant a bleak hope.

Then suddenly, my dearest and closest friend and coworker told me that his significant other just received her Masters in NYC and is moving this week back to our city and that they wondered if they could rent my attic. The perks are incredible - they are quiet, I trust them completely, the attic is less of an impedance on my personal space, and they offered to take me to a nationally-acclaimed grocer, (instead of my bargain grocer) every week to shop together and to cook healthy real meals, (a sea change from my daily bowls of sugary breakfast cereals). They would contribute half my mortgage, and they don't have a TV set. And best of all, since my friend and I work together 3/5 days a week, he will be driving me to and from work, saving me money on bus passes and taking hours off my daily transportation. The three of us could also go out together to help me develop socially. It's a perfect fit.

My life is transforming so quickly, but I feel ready for its pace. Thank you again, everyone, for your support!
Time to throw a housewarming kegger.

Hey folks, haven't been very active lately but also haven't forgotten about the board. Secured my motorcycle license a couple of weeks ago and have been spending literally every free waking hour riding around. Being a dual-sport bike that usually means I'm thoroughly beaten up and exhausted by the time I get home, which means falling asleep rather than looking for new tunes and plugging.

It's going to rain for the next two days out here so I might hit plug later this evening.

Look up what Chula Vista means and apply it to that picture EP.

Certainly is a chula vista, probably my favorite local chula vista too, not a lot of people know about that spot. It's at the end of a pretty deteriorated and dangerous single lane deactivated logging road, most evidence of past visitors is in the form of spent shotgun shells and shattered targets. The clearing below is actually a prison, can't help but wonder if the guards, up in their towers, spend a large portion of their shift each day spying on rednecks lugging their 4x4s up there, blasting away watermelons with buckshot all afternoon.

As if the week couldn't get any better - after talking with my soon-to-be-roommate I analyzed my data usage and realized that I could... dare I say it... give up my grandfathered-in unlimited data with Verizon and still live under the data prioritization threshold with T-Mobile and save over $65 a month on my service!

We took a trip together to T-Mobile and I rolled the price of a brand new device into my plan for just $5 a month. BEST OF ALL - we went in together on a family plan saving us both even more each month!

In the last two days alone, I've projected savings of over $7,700 for the next year. What a transformative week!

Just bought a large box of Captain Crunch. Use to love this **** as a kid. Swear to god I haven't eaten it in at least 45 years. I still have the scars on the roof of my mouth from mowing through it way to quickly as a kid.

Time to re-open those old wounds.

Why eat Captain Crunch in a world that has Reese's Puffs?

Did ISB and Chula sell their accounts to advertisers?

If you give me twenty bucks, I'll shill the new Wolves in Sheepskin breakfast cereal.
