Found out I tore the ligment that connects the Cuboid bone (2nd from bottom right) to the Calcaneus bone (bottom right).

I guess it was a small tear at first and I should have stayed off of it for a few days but Linda's been working so I had to take the dogs out for walks to do their stuff. Two days ago the pain was pretty bad. Yesterday morning I was dying and looking like Frankenstein being led down the street by 150 pounds of dog.

That's one of the three ligaments that I tore when I broke my ankle, seriously the worst pain I've ever experienced. I know how excruciating that can be man, sorry to hear.

Did you intend that for news or did you want me to transfer that to the Your Day thread btw?

Did you get those white hot sharp bolts of pain that just come out of nowhere. Some of mine and going halfway up my calf. And sleeping just sucks. I'm going to get an ACE bandage and wrap the crap out of it tonight.

Mine was more of a constant block of pain attached to my leg. It barely took anything to crank it to 11 though.

I used a foam elevation wedge that I cut a foot-shaped mold in where I could rest my foot easily while sleeping sideways. You can't turn over, but it was really useful because it restricts movement that can make you hurt yourself.

You should probably get a splint.

He might want to go to the hospital just in case. A few years ago I had a sharp pain in my calf when I walked and ignored it. Guess who ended up with an embolism?
