Decided to text the girl since I haven't talked to her since what happened since New Years. She says she's been thinking of me and I admit, I have as well. Been thinking about her that is. Id like to think I can forgive people because she's really fun to talk to and I can't let one moment ruin a potential great thing. She apologized so no hard feelings really. We'll see how things go.

She said she got caught up at a friend's place and didn't mean to blow me off. Dunno if thatd the case so yeah, I'm cautious but hey, im not really perfect either. It could've just been an unfortunate set of circumstances. I'm optimistic but I'm not pushing for anything. Basically how I did before. Just a bit more careful.

I'd say she's playing the field and doesn't really know what she wants at this point, Kiii (Key). Just be courteous to her affections when they appear but confident in your own personal space until you know more. Which it seems like you already have that covered, so yeah... good plan. lol

I got cancelled on a couple of weeks ago by a woman I've been seeing, but it was by text message letting me know that she had woke up sick the day before. Then, last night I got a call from her saying that she wanted to meet me at a bar/restaurant (with great food, btw), so I agreed and we met up. She said she had just gotten over what ever bug it was she had and she seemed honest about it, so I believe her. I watched her get a little buzzed while we ate and talked, since I'm not drinking lately and the progression was obvious. We were bf/gf back some 30 years ago, so I know how to make her laugh and we have a bit of history together and it was really relaxed and open. It was nice. At the end of it as we were leaving, she leaned in for a kiss but it landed on my cheek since I was thinking the whole time to not take advantage of things. I made sure she got home safely and we exchanged a few text messages before me telling her to have a good night, and she told me that she appreciated the way I handled things and made a promise to not drink the next time we get together. It was a good night and all, but every time I see this woman I manage to get a zit on my nose. Not sure how that plays into things other than maybe nerves. Second puberty? *shrug*
