My dad had another heart attack [like his 8th one], and had to have another surgery. A triple balloon angioplasty and some stints. It happened earlier this week and he waited until now to tell me. Said he didn't want to worry me. Fuck.

Sorry to hear bud. I hope he'll be able to bounce back as much as someone can after enduring all that.

That's terrible Merit, hope he recovers. My dad had really bad atrial fibrillation for many years. Only reason he didn't die of a heart attack multiple times over was because the medications actually worked decently for the first 15 years.

I got a speeding ticket a while back (racing home to keep a pork roast in the crock pot from over-cooking after a round of DG), and they had me do the traffic safety school, which is now available on-line. It's a bit mind-numbing but a much better option than having to sit through a 4 hour class that I'd have to travel to and from to. I can stop/start when ever I want too, which is nice. Spent most of the morning getting through to about the half-way point.

Now I'm off to Costco, just to see whats there. I signed up for a membership last summer just to get a deal on a DG basket they had and haven't been there since and didn't look around when I went for the basket. It's been sub-zero around here and I'm getting cabin fever. Plus, it's gonna snow, then get even colder coming up in a few days. Gotta break the monotony somehow.
