I don't think that's entirely fair to yourself. It's common sense that a good justice system should be focused on giving people a chance to better their lives if they go wrong. Letting you rent a place when you clearly tried and succeeded in getting your **** together should be part of that.

Apparently, he was a hippy back in the day and also there was a period in his life when he lived in brazil cause he fell in love with some woman who was from there when he was living in NYC. They felt the winters were too cold and he was like let's try cali and she was from Brazil so she said let's do Brazil first. Said he loved it there. Never had anything negative to say about Brazil. Then they moved to Cali after that. Never had anything positive to say about Cali.

The older he gets, the more political he gets. I would like to go back in time and interact with him when he was younger.But yeah he bought a gun. Tucker Carlson prolly told him the revolution is coming.

This is a fairly safe area to me though some of the locals will say otherwise. Though there was a drive-by shooting a week or 2 ago down the street in the little hood part of town. 3 children killed. no adults. the gangsters around here seem to have bad aim.

But that wasn't right here in our neighborhood this is close to downtown it's perfectly safe. It was funny cause he bought a gun and I was like you came all the way from LA to little old Statesville NC and now you're shook and need a gun? And he said I'm not scared it's just a pain in the ass to get one in cali otherwise I would've.

Having a pretty terrible time with my apartment.

I live above a lacrosse retailer. They use this "net" to test out their sticks by throwing a ball against it and having it bounce back. It's not a net. It's essentially a drum. It's a hard canvass material pulled over a metal A frame. It's so loud that it reverberates through their ceiling, my floor, and into my apartment. This has been happening since we moved in five months ago. Landlord hasn't done a thing. They're open seven days a week 10am - 6am. I'm thinking of calling a lawyer.

Power went out a few days ago at night and I learned that our building has non functioning emergency lights.

My dryer has been broken for days.

My refrigerator just went and they won't answer their emergency line. It goes straight to voicemail.

All their contact numbers go to voicemail...all the time. They never return calls or emails.

They're the worst. I'm going insane.

I left Florida that way and had to take a Megabus back down to get a public defender to get it taken care of so I could get my license back.

Been driving illegally for a while. That's how I owed so much in first place. Had a cop follow me all the way home the other day... It's gay

Interesting afternoon meetup.

From '98 to '14, I had a favorite restaurant that I went to regularly. I even
loaned them my 400 CD changer that was filled with music for the restaurant
that I had made for them. Good times until the restaurant was sold.

Anyway, a bunch of us would regularly meet up almost every day and today
was a kind of reunion for us from that time. My plan was to go there and
order carryout and chat while waiting for the food.

One of the guys I hadn't seen in about a decade, Barry, came up to me
and told me to check out something called the "Dr. Death" podcast and
that he was one of the featured people in it. He also said that in about a week
there will be a movie being released based on that podcast that is supposed to
have actors Alec Baldwin and some other people who are supposed to be
well-known. I'd never heard anything about this guy that they call Dr. Death -
who sounds like a real sociopath.

I know that Barry had this family business that had him lifting heavy items
and that his back gave out one too many times and when we spoke last,
he was talking about how he was going to have to get surgery done because
his regular doctor said that he couldn't do anything anymore to help,
so he referred him to this guy they now call "Dr. Death."
I've been reading this stuff and holy shit - this guy was a monster "doctor."
My friend's life has been made a living hell because of this guy.

At least, he's alive.

The exact reason I have to be on my death bed before I'll even consider stepping foot into a hospital/dr's office, and even then I'd probably say let me just ****in die. Money grubbin megalomaniacs.

Surgeon’s unions are just as much of a good ol’ boys club as your hometown police force.

He was exposed as a fraud a handful of times, but just kept being moved around to different hospitals to commit more mutilation. It’s almost impossible to fire a surgeon iirc.
