Well, in your post, you said you didn't see how any comic purist could have liked V for Vendetta. Then, you stated that you didn't enjoy it, but you are not a comic purist. Maybe, you need a comic purist to see if they liked it.. Unfortunately, I'm not one, but it seems like for the sake of your argument, where you seemed to infer that a comic purist wouldn't like the movie, you should find a comic purist to ask how they felt about it.

One of my friends is a complete comic geek and a pretty dedicated comic purist and he absolutely loathed V for Vendetta.

I pulled a double at DQ yesterday because I let a girl go home and it was after that I realized nobody but her knew how to balance tills except me, So I had to stay an extra six hours.
