Took my placement exam for college today.
My scores:

English/writing
My score: 98 (minimum for AAS: 68)
Reading
My score: 97 (minimum for AAS: 80)
Maths
My score: 89 (minimum for AAS: 48)

Not too shabby for not having been to high school or any kind of schooling since 1998.
So I don't have to take any remedial courses. Good stuff. One week 'till orientation.

So work has been pretty depressing, or more than the usual amount you'd expect to find in a retirement home. One of my favorite residents passed away today from a stroke, probably the nicest lady in this place. It's always sad when one of the few that you actually like dies.

Sorry to hear that...): Is that a part-time job or are you a professional caregiver?

Part time, but I work in the office. I don't have the balls to be a nurse, especially around here :/

I was about to say you do have to have a stiff upper lip to work there especially if you're developing relationships with these people. I couldn't do it at all.

But yeah, very jelous of anyone who's been to Turkey, it looks like an amazing place to visit/live in.
I'm happy to report that that wasn't what came to mind for me.

I didn't take them, but thanks.

We do actually have plenty of pics, but they're all on my mom's computer and I don't feel like digging them up.
