Are You The Same Person In Real Life As You Are Online?

Don't look at the question literally. I'm asking about how you put yourself out there as a person online. For example, I come off as this douchbag ******* online who swears all the time, and I'm pretty much the same way in real life, but instead I choose not to argue with people as much as I do on here.

Say for example someone were to meet you in real life, would they have the same impression on you as they do if they saw how you react to people and talk online? Or would their impression of you be completely different?

I'd say I act more or less the same minus all the "fams" and "lols".

I'm more restrained at work, but otherwise I'm always the pretentious dick you all know and love.

When I'm not on-line, I'm a 70 year old Grandmother of 3 with a gambling problem.

If I meet anyone in real life that says "lol" out loud, I'll punch them square in the face. But I expect you'd be the person you are online.

This doesn't surprise me for some reason.

So are you implying that I'd be the kind of guy to say lol offline?

Hopefully not.

I don't always play the role of the fun-loving, ruthless ****, but when I do, I save it for MB.

I usually don't talk about music in real life, except when meeting a fellow music nerd, but apart from that I don't think I'm that different online.
