Medical marijuana has been hybridized and is therefore not natural.

Delusions of Paranoia 09-27-2016 12:31 AM

I mean I wouldn't know because I don't use any type of marijuana.
Cannbis oil then. I keep hearing about it curing random diseases n ****.

Frownland 09-27-2016 12:32 AM

You mean butane processed oil that wouldn't occur in nature, which would make it not natural?

Delusions of Paranoia 09-27-2016 12:39 AM

Like I said, I wouldn't actually know. Just what I've read.

Frownland 09-27-2016 12:42 AM

Point is that natural and chemical are pointless terms and often times are used in fear mongering pseudoscience. Conventional science uses loads of natural treatments and the bulk of things marketed as a natural treatment is snake oil. The marketing of the organic industry has had a crazy effect on the world and has contributed a ****load to the anti-intellectual attitudes that are so popular in the US.

I guess you could say that blows my mind.

They are slowly starting to take them out. I actually drank a diet pepsi the other day because it says aspartame free. Still tastes like **** but whatever.

It's a bit annoying, at the same time, people are living the longest life's they've ever lived. And that fact goes against the theory. But at the same time you could make an argument that if we cut off the chemicals we'd increase the living rate even higher. So who knows?

Yeah but there are also record number of people being diagnosed with different cancers and high rates of diabetes and other chronic illnesses.

Yeah. But I can't help but to wonder if those have always been there and the recent changes in modern medicines have made them more known.

No, I'm pretty sure it's an increase.
Gah, you are forcing me to look up stats. Fine I will do it.

This is the same argument that people use with police brutality cases. Oh it's always been there but with technology nowadays we are just seeing more of it.
