I'm actually trying to figure out how to put a chat overlay over my game video since I don't have two monitors, and opening my Chromebook adds too much stress to my already weak internet connection. Once I figure it out and test whatever I'll be playing on Twitch then I might be up whenever the hell I feel like it.

If this works it will be intensely epic, and I think it eventually will, but if I can't get a chat overlay on my stream I will be very depressed considering the time and hope I've put into this. I now have to download **** to get this working, and I still don't know if I'm being sold a bill of goods, but I've seen it work in other people's streams... SO IT'S GOTTA BE A ****ING THING!!!

But I actually think I'm getting damn close to what I'm going for. So... livestream maybe in another hour... or two. And I've gotten word from other Twitch users that you can basically use copyrighted music in your stream once you start talking since that I guess ****s with Twitch's algorithms for muting that **** (and it only mutes archived videos and not actual live streams anyway), so look out for possible metal/punk goodness.

I've heard that as well. Seems like everybody does it, but I've recieved a handful of warnings over the menu tracks on Xbox games. Maybe I'm just unlucky though.

I've been banging my head against a wall for hours trying to get chat inset into my game screen and I've come to the conclusion that all the people telling you how to do it DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IT BEING VIEWABLE TO THE VIEWERS AND BEING VIEWABLE TO THE STREAMERS!!!

So for the time being I'm giving up on that cause it feels like a wild goose chase. So anyone who wants to watch me shoot **** the **** up in my rage within the next 30 minutes should join me as I play the Brutal Doom mod for the original Doom. I'll talk about that more in-game, but it's just an excuse to shoot **** up cause I want to see things dead. I'll probably be playing some more old school games on SNES and PS1 emulators, so I'll actually play windowed so I can see the chat. But when it's StarCraft and Tiberium Sun I will never play windowed. I don't even think I can, but I will never play RTS windowed.

Let's see... I got some Donkey Kong Country, Zelda Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Megaman, and I gotta see if I can stream PS1 games without lag, but I assume I can. Metal Gear Solid, god knows how many rpgs that probably wouldn't be good for a live stream, Resident Evil 1-3, Castelvania - Symphony of the Night.

To be perfectly honest I'd probably be down for livestreaming any day of the week. And with emulators it would be way cool to do it so I could see the chat window, but it's just so weird thinking about not fullscreening a game. I'll deal with it though. Oh ****, and if I can get Gamecube games to not lag we can do Metroid Prime and Zelda Windwalker.

But like I said, no RTS games not in fullscreen. I draw that line.

Today at 6pm Eastern is officially the first day of streaming Tiberium Sun, and so shall it be every Friday until I beat both campaigns. For those who don't know, Tiberium Sun is an RTS that is the sequel to the first Command & Conquer. Stoked.

Tomorrow at the same time will be the second installment of StarCraft 1/Brood War, and Sunday is Clocktower, when you will hopefully see me get at least marginally freaked out, cause it's kind of a freaky game.
