I think this is EXACTLY what I dislike about the character. I can't comment on the overall story, but he DOES have superpowers and they pass it off like he doesn't.

If there was a hero that train there body "through long years in a way that no person on earth will likely every be capable of doing", and they somehow had the strength of the Hulk would you buy it? No, cause it's bs. Call Batman what he is, don't play him off as some extraordinary human and then write him as something obviously beyond human.

But his capabilities are something he's earned through his dedication. Sure he's been born with an indomitable will and lots of money, but everything he's used to fight crime he's earned rather than being born with or falling into a vat of chemicals or whatever. Even his expensive gadgets he invented himself. He's basically a Greek Herculean ideal of what a person being could be if he tried as hard as is humanly possible to try (assuming comic book standards of human capabilities). You know, instead of being an alien who would otherwise have been just some nice guy.

Anyone wanna put in some input? This one shouldn't be too difficult I think.

Oh and don't forget about Snapper Carr.

Yeh, I get that, I just don't buy it. I've never really been a fan of overcoming adversity stories except for The Replacements because that movie is great.

Yeah I know. I realised that as I was writing it, hence the "ah ****"...

Oh c'mon, you didn't think I was going to write a "weakest Justice League members" list without including Batman, did you? I mean seriously, I totally understand the appeal behind Batman. Mysterious dark figure in the night swooping down and inflicting damage on his foes. But as we've seen throughout his history, he tends to get his ass handed to him more times than not. I'm not saying he's the weakest member of the Justice League, but when you're in a team that is based solely on superpowers and superhuman attributes, Batman doesn't really fit the bill. I mean, he's got his cool gadgets, his badass demeanor, and his tendency to think things through (sometimes), but at the end of the day, he's just a normal dude. He's a lot like Superman in the way that he has to live a double life, but of course the only difference being that Superman actually has powers.

I imagine "as we've seen" doesn't actually mean you read any comics to back up your statements. I'm assuming you found other clickbait articles and ripped them off or went to real comic book readers on a comic forum and they spoonfed you your article.

I have to cater to the reader.

In other words: I have to act like I know what I'm talking about.
