Okay i heard a comedian say this tonight, along the line somewhere in the beginning someone had to have haven slept with their sister because think about it: adam and eve had 2 sons and a daughter...thats it. someone had to sleep with their sister to have our existnece be even possible. LMFAO, thats funny. And isnt it against the bible to even sleep with your family? LMFAO thats rich.

Seriously, I'm partially joking.
The whole Adam and Eve story is actually just figurative for the way man desired eternal life but was too impatient to search for it.
Instead, he ate from the tree that grew fruit that contained the knowledge of good and evil (The Knowledge of the Gods).
Once this was done, Adam "thought" that he was a God, and therefore had the right to dominate Planet Earth and all of its beings.
There are many other stories in The Bible that relate to something that actually happened in the world at one time or other.


But really, if you want to ask a great question, ask,"Why the hell is dominating Planet Earth and all of the species on it (excluding man) part of a religion?"


It gets you going much more than if you ask yourself,"Hyuck-hyuck why did Cain sleep with his sister??"

actually, I paged through Genesis not 2 weeks ago, and Adam didn't want to become god, though Eve was tempted with power by the "snake".Cause you see before the ate the fruit, they were just blissful idiots happy to be living naked Then the fruit enlightened them, and they became self consious and made clothes and hid from god.......In the whole old testement of the bible it seems God is constantly trying to keep man from becomeing great.
