It sucks. Nobbling has "nobb" in it. Just makes me sound a bit gay.

Thelonious Monkey 06-02-2017 08:49 PM

I'm going against the poll and choosing Thelonious Monkey as my new username.

Thanks for participating.

I put a lot of time in effort coming up with that name, mate. Rigel 04 is the name of a rocket Argentina use to send a monkey into space. And I looked up some Leed's slang and "nobbling" means to kid or trick someone. I thought both of them together were "original and be representative" of your personalty." "Thelonious Monkey" would be great if you were into Jazz, but I can't picture you as a Jazzbo.

Bit like when I heard a German girl call builders tea ''biscuit coloured tea''

She said she'd lived here for like 7 years, must've been lying

:D

'Bostin' is the one that always gets said to me. I've never heard anyone say it unless they were impersonating Brummies.

Poll is done btw, Leeds by Example it is

Nobbling is, or used to be, an expression used in horse racing, when the horse had been drugged or the jockey paid off: "that horse/jockey was nobbled, mate." :)

Just one last idea before you make the change: Felonious Monk?
