Default Do American Corporations Really Pay the Highest Tax Rate in the Western World?

American companies supposedly pay 39% in taxes, the highest in the Western world, but while I know that this is a myth due to tax loopholes, I'm still ignorant of how much this is a myth since tax loopholes exist in every country and no company in any country pays exactly the taxes it should supposedly pay. So let's deal with this. Please post ****.

Write offs, chalked up depreciation, outsourcing, withholding payments coming from outside of the country, etc, etc. etc.

but in the US yeah damn near no one is paying the 35% indeed quite a few profitable corporations are paying zero
That's my biggest issue. Clearly US corporations are not paying the money they supposedly are, but what is the percentage all those other countries are paying for real.

It's easy to say that US corporations are paying less than the statutory rate, but since the statutory rate of other countries is so much lower how much are both paying in comparison?

US corporations aren’t required to reveal tax information in their public disclosures.

In other words, all you’re going to get is speculation.

I figure it’s all over the place and very corrupt. I doubt anyone would debate that.
