Given that their motivation is usually "screw the regular people so that the rich can get richer" (as per their tax and health policies), I think American internet users have good cause to be angry and nervous.

It may be a nice metaphor to talk about "a bunch of horrified sheep", but imo it's a cheap shot on Lucem Ferre's part to use that description for a ground-swell of justified concern about what will happen to the internet. And if, in the end, Lucem is proved right and the answer is "nothing much will change", well that takes us right back to the question I started this post with.

Do you think the internet was broken before 2015?

Nothing will change until we Americans get wise like Hollywood (Hah!) always says we do.

Specifically the males.

It’s been a long time since you could surf for stream of consciousness information and find decent material. It’s already so garbled and messy I don’t care much about it.

Just Google James Joyce for Alvin Chipmunk's sake. Actually I tend to write in SoC style.
