GAA, yeah. You don't know what a bowsy is, but basically a lunkhead. So, the saying is that rugby is a gentlemen's game played by bowsys, football (soccer) is a bowsy's game played by gentlemen, and GAA is a bowsy's game played by bowsys. :) (Pronounced bough-zees)

I just read a murder mystery that starts off with that event. Two of the older players break off to do battle on their own & they discover a body on the egde of the woods.

I can't remember the title, though.

I think that saying is the other way round.

Yeah, it could be. I couldn't quite figure out the football/rugby thing. The last part though is right, and it's the point of the saying. GAA. Gotta love the old gaahh! Not that I do.

You ever played it?

Looks like football but you just drop kick the ball into the goal?

Never played it. Basically rugby, football, Australian Rules all in one, with a good old punch-up thrown in because Ireland.

You probably already know but it’s programmed to remember the things you type and over time a program that was meant to be intuitive picks up weird typos that for whatever reason you’re prone to repeat.

I’ve also found that if for some reason one time you wanted to write “chiner” for whatever reason and kept going back to correct the autocorrect it overcompensates in the future.

Another Irish one: we don't say "sandwich", we say "sangwij". You want a ham sangwij?
