Anyone been following it so far this year?
If so, what are you anticipating, what press conferences have to caught etc

I'm mostly about the Sony stuff so far this year from what I know;

Last of Us Part II
Ghost of Tsushima
Death Stranding
Days gone
FF7 Remake
Spiderman
Shemnue 3
Nioh 2
Yakuza

etc

I've been talking about it in my journal, but so far I've been pleased. Xbox easily had the best conference for E3.

EA was the worst, by far.

So how bout dat RE2 remake

I'm so hyped for cyberpunk it's not even funny. The trailer was amazing, but the additional information I've been reading ... this game is really going to be huge. A Deus Ex/GTA hybrid with witcher level of writing and mature themes...
Too bad we'll have to wait God knows how long for it.. but it should be worth it.


Apart from that, there were many awesome ps4 games.. but as pc gamer, I choose not to get too excited over them, since I won't play them probably :P

Oh, and dying light 2 looks awesome too, but the best thing about it is they got Chris Avellone (of fallout 2, fallout new vegas, kotor and many more fame) to write the story, which was arguably the weakest element of the first game.

Someone told me on that they guy who basically invented the cyberpunk genre says the game looks nothing like cyberpunk. However, u have to say I'm pretty excited for the game. Dying Light 2 also looks amazing.

He did, thing is .. this is based on a specific world - cyberpunk2020. Not the cyberpunk genre in general. The creator of cp2020 is nothing but enthusiastic about the game, from what I saw.

Many people think cyberpunk means blade runner- dark alleys, eating ramen in the rain, modern noir type of serring, but it's not. It's a part of what cyberpunk can be, sure, but it doesn't define the whole genre.

Finally, I have to add that the creator of the Witcher used to **** on the game relentlessly, until he realized just how successful and good it was despite not following the source material to the letter. So all in all, I trust CDProjekt on this and I'm convinced it will be awesome.

Fair enough! Then I'm excited for it.
