I don't think any Danish pizza chefs subscribe to this idea. I saw it in some Youtube video. An Italian-American pizza chef who owned a restaurant was all about the sauce-only pizza and apparently it's an Italian thing.

I guess if the bread and sauce are both top notch, it could work.

Italian planes in WW2 were known as "flying coffins" so **** their pizzas.
