Default I Don't Know Why I Like it, I Just Do

surely I'm not the only one who's into some completely random things and couldn't ever explain why, because there's virtually no reason at all. Or maybe I'm just a punk ass.

for example:

I really dig the Swamp Tourist Center from Majora's Mask. What's going on there? Not too much. Boat cruises and photography contests. It's somehow one of my favorite things. (I have many Zelda examples though).

like Spectacle Island from Wind Waker

and the fishin hole in Twilight Princess

it's all about that moment at 2:20 when he starts walking to the ring

"We're from Louisville, and we thought you needed to hear this"

31:30 - "what if their boyfriends show up?" "eh, then we'll kick their asses."
31:45 - "where're we going?" "I dunno."
45:35 - "I took a long walk in the field back there, then I went into the woods, and then I found something real ****ing weird."

this

2:33 - "Oh, that's alright, I've got plenty of jackets."
2:40 - "Advocaat is it?"

this whole bit

I love trees in autumn and, for some reason, birch trees especially.

It goes beyond just thinking that it looks pretty. If I was a painter, I'd probably obsessively paint birch trees with orange leaves.

I also have a weird attraction to night scenes with orange hued street lights.
Spoiler for warning: nobody cares:
So much so that I dedicated a whole album to that atmosphere it evokes in me - plus an earlier track named Orange Glow

I'm genuinely happy that someone understands.

I particularly love those time-lapse ones where you can see headlights streaming out as like ribbons of light following the cars along the highways. And buildings at night are the biz, especially with tons of lights on in like a tall office building.

There's also that feeling of going outside in the city at night when the air feels and smells different from in daytime. Nature is beautiful, but these dirty, concrete and asphalt covered cities we made for ourselves have their own odd beauty to them. I've always felt like I was a big city person at heart in ways that can't be explained with practical reasons.

Early morning right as the sun is rising and the light is oblique. Best results in greener areas.
