All About Bridges

The Deutzer Brücke in Köln is a rather mundane bridge, but my interest
(and the interest of other experimental composers) is in the sound-imaging
that you get from the three large empty rooms located in the concrete hollow
body of the bridge. I've been encouraged by a rep for the City of Köln to
consider doing a work for this space and so it's been one of a number of
projects I've been working on.

Here's a video (in German) about this ongoing series of installations.

@ Psy-Fi :That Boston bridge live stream has more action in evidence that the previous, and I stayed to watch a train go by. Cool.

London has lots of bridges, including these two which I used to cross on a v regular basis for many years. I was lucky enough to live one block beyond the right-hand side of the picture and caught my train to work, to the city centre, from the left-hand side of the river. Good times:-

i dont really like this track and this whole album is kinda weak but i have great respect for sage francis (especially since i saw him live once upon a time) and this is about london bridge so:

^ Good choice!

I saw a double-bill, back in the day, featuring Mazzy Star and Cocteau Twins.

Mazzy Star were the opening act. One of the few times when an opener was not only worth seeing but was every bit as good as the headlining act.
