I'm modding tonight. Don't test me. Best behavior. Exo is here. He is here to kick ass and watch football drunk. I'll be deleting rape jokes and Elph's posts all night f*ckers.

There should be a rule against drunk modding tbh

I'm just saying that you totally threatened to ejaculate on jwb's mom.

Then **** off till you're properly fun. At least Frown mods like an ******* when he's blasted.

jwb 12-15-2019 07:13 PM

To be fair I didn't consider his threat serious at all since that would presumably require him to find a way actually **** on my mom

You said you didn't and you did. That is literally allimsayin sayin?

I don't have enough beer to get properly drunk and I'm not getting off this couch so this is what you get.

The Batlord 12-15-2019 07:17 PM

Why can't I threaten JWB's mom's virtue? She already ****ed a guy who was a JWB progenitor so what more can I do to her?

I've had plenty of moments since then but before I could basically dedicate massive hours out of the day to orchestrating creative outputs that were fun and engaging and made the entire day into play. Doing it now is like a job on top of a job. Some people can obviously do that. Me not so much.

Hey something I can very much relate to.

From 2013-early 2016 I was in a very bad place. I'm sure you've heard similar stories - I was a full time college student that also worked part-time. The vast majority of the paltry money I made from my part-time job had to go to rent and utilities and groceries and all that ****. I lived with my girlfriend and it was becoming clearer and clearer by the day that the relationship was not going to last but I stuck in it because we had an apartment lease together more than anything. I spent ~10 hours a day either in class, doing homework, or at my job. Literally nothing about my life was enjoyable or worthwhile...except for Daydream Society. To be perfectly blunt there were points where I would attribute Daydream Society with quite literally keeping me alive.

As a result, all of those albums serve as basically a time capsule. I remember the time of year, how I was spending my time, what I was struggling with every time I listen to one of those albums.

You're saying that you're struggling to find the motivation to maintain a creative project, but I would definitely recommend doing what you can in finding one to invest in. Any sort of creative motivation that leads to a tangible representation of progress can be a powerful thing for the mind.

You can make her one of your finest Double McSlobbers.

jwb 12-15-2019 07:19 PM

You could try staying in her house for 30+ years but I doubt she'd go for that

For me the creative motivation was a way to essentially transform the time as much to transform anything else. It was just play. Perhaps the nature of my output can attest to this. Having to work does not lead me to want to play. It leads me to want to rage. Being put upon kills my desire to play and brings forth an angry, resentful monster who apparently does not much want to trade emotion for output.

I wouldn't even object if you pulled it off

The Batlord 12-15-2019 07:55 PM

I hope she doesn't have any inheritance for you cause I'll suck it right out of her. Literally. I mean figuratively but kinda literally.

jwb 12-15-2019 08:01 PM

You go right ahead champ. Suck that 60 year old pussy completely dry. Maybe it will inspire you to write a poem or something.

Lucem Ferre 12-15-2019 08:01 PM

Having a job kills your steam, definitely. It absolutely sucks.

I found going to bed after work then waking up earlier gives me more energy to do stuff. Though, I'm definitely not the success story in keeping my creative energy alive. After time bull**** tends to wear down your passion to want to do anything.

That might actually be ****ing magnificent advice. Removing influence from "them" is a big part of the battle. Making the start point of your day be your time and not simply the downtime of your work day is a big context changer. I think one of the best parts of being unemployed is that you can wake up at any time and don't need to be a part of the "wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night" brigade. All times are your time.

I don't know if it could make that big a difference but it's an actual bit of advice I like.

No matter what you do there’s only 24 hours and work is taking its share.

Not working is so ****ing addictive. The only reason people work is to try create a chunk of life where they don’t have to. People buy nice **** but what they really want is the time to enjoy it. Rich people who work all the time are also poor.

Yeah obviously but a change in context is always nice. And an excuse to stay up all night is basically the point of modern society now that we have artificial light.

If you can ride your mom’s dick for a while then **** yeah. When I maxed out my credit cards and didn’t work for 8 months that was the dream.

But now the fear of hitting zero is so heavy on the mental not working is still work.

That's what I want to start doing actually. I used to love to read when I was a kid but I haven't actually read anything since I was a kid.

I'm thinking 1984. Maybe I can find a PDF.

Try a library. I find reading on a computer to be too distracting. An actual book is way more engrossing. Or just buy it off Amazon. 3rd party hopefully so those poor ****s on the warehouse floor don't have to break their backs finding it for you. Great book though.
