In 2020, I weighed about 320 pounds. I carried it well because of my height (my gut was huge but I looked ok enough head on). Then my grandpa had a heart attack and I saw the writing on the wall. Started exercising regularly, cooking most of my food myself, and avoiding obviously unhealthy foods like cheese and sweets (as best I could). I joined a weight loss competition in January and have been extremely dedicated to it. We did our final weigh in today and I was at 198 pounds for the first time since I was 20, with 30 pounds lost since January. I've lost 50 pounds before, but I think I've made the necessary lifestyle changes to avoid having to lose that much weight again. Feels good man.

Congrats man. I started working out in January. I was at 280 doing three days a week and since April started kicking it up to 4 days a week. I stepped on the scale last week and I now weigh 285 but I feel so much better going from being non active to sweating in the mornings. I'm sure I've lost some fat but also gained muscle weight.

I'm mostly just sleeping whilst trying to learn Spanish in the interim.

That's amazing, congratulations!

I've been on a workout grind since last summer; in March I stepped it up and now I work out every weekday for at least 20 minutes, plus walking when the weather is nice. I went from 343 in January 2022 to 259 now.
