Hopefully America atones for it's sins and by the next fourth we spend more time celebrating the people that suffered for the freedoms they never got rather than the white supremacist fascist propaganda that is our current celebration.

Those things can’t be atoned for. Nor can the environment be replaced or fixed. You can’t plant pumpkin seeds and expect watermelon. This isn’t a blip like Hitler or Amin. We’re not like a person with cancer; we are cancer.

It's not really clear what you truly support for this country. Everything you say seems to imply you support putting America in a situation where it's victims suffer even more. As if your own whiteness has made you totally short sighted and indifferent to how these events you're fantasizing about will make things worse than they already were.

Think of it like Hell. And since this a mythological analogy please allow my the latitude of pretending that the souls in this hell cannot be saved. There are two choices: allow Hell to continue on adding more burning souls daily or it can just be wiped from existence souls and all. The latter is clearly the more humane choice. America needs to be euthanized, so to speak.
