^ LOL. That's true. All a facemask does is reduce the frequency with which people touch their face. That may help if you often sit on public transport scratching your beard, picking your nose, sucking your thumb and biting your nails. And who amongst us does not do all of those things?

I thought it was more about preventing people with symptoms from potentially spreading their illness.

Either way people are buying that **** up. If you can sell magnetic bracelets that are supposed to improve your balance you can certainly sell face masks during a potential pandemic.

Yesterday my throat started hurting and now it's two AM and I'm awake and my throat hurts like hell. Hope I don't have it. There was a case in the town next to where I live so it wouldn't be too outlandish to think that I have it but of course it could be a normal cold or flu.
It's especially annoying since I'm on a business trip in Bavaria since yesterday, interacting with lots of people.
Staying in a hotel right now. We weren't able to finish our work yesterday so I wanted to continue today but it looks like I'll try to go to a doctor in this town. Hope I won't be too sick to drive home, it's a three hour drive. Damn, I was looking forward to a chill weekend.
