Cancer isn't contagious. And even with all the masks, social distancing, and shutdowns in just a year we have a new strain that's 70% more contagious. Imagine how many new strains we might have without any of those precautions. What if one of those strains is 70% more deadly? SARS and MERS, two related diseases from the same area, are quote a bit more deadly than COVID and you and I certainly don't know how much worse the next strain could be, assuming the newest one isn't already the apocalypse.
