Sven Out Sven Out Sven Out !!!!!!!!

Good call he's a disgrace to football. Against both Wales and N.Ireland he has picked a strategy designed to avoid defeat.

Sneer 09-07-2005 03:25 PM

disgrace of a performance.
why leave it at sven?
oust beckham, owen, gerrard, cole, lampard and ferdinand while your at it.

franscar 09-07-2005 03:37 PM

It's hardly the manager's fault that eleven retarded millionaires don't know how to pass a football to one another.

right-track 09-07-2005 03:43 PM

Svens to blame.

Since the 4-1 defeat v. Denmark, he's been running scared of losing again.

V.Wales he only started with Rooney as the lone striker and packed the midfield.
Rooney is not an out and out striker.

V. N.Ireland again only the one striker in Owen!

Wales and N.Ireland are hardly footballing international giants. Better to play two strikers, finish the opposition off early then shut up shop.

His arse has fallen out...get rid now.

Alright, get rid of Sven, and put who in charge? Sam Allardyce? **** that. I don't want to see Kevin Davies up front on his own for England, I'd find an Irish "grandma" like Clinton and I'd be off.

right-track 09-07-2005 05:26 PM

Good point Fran. He is running scared though. For the first time the media has turned against him and I think his bottles gone, which is dangerous for the team.
Maybe a new face can add something positive...but your right, who?
I'm still pissed off at losing tonight. Against them it should never happen.
If they had gone all out from the start we would'nt be in this ****.

franscar 09-07-2005 06:49 PM

The media turned against him as soon as we didn't win Euro2004, they've been sharpening their knives ever since.

They moan when he plays 4-4-2, he changes it and they moan at him for changing formations. The problem Sven faces is that too many of the players (Gerrard especially) are throwing a hissy fit because the team isn't built around them.

very true, they all tried to be heros last night and sadly they just didnt play as a team at all! there was no connection that is vital for any top team to have in order to succeed, NI didnt have a clue either but they have a leeds player on their side (healy) so they were bound to win ;)

But they had two Blues players as well, which should have left them inept beyond reprieve.

Bobby Robson & Stuart Pearce for England

franscar 09-08-2005 09:06 AM

Bobby Robson has gone mad, and Stuart Pearce hasn't even managed fifteen games of Premiership football.

The only reason Marco Van Basten has managed to go from youth team coaching to national team manager is because he has the respect of every single Dutch footballer, past and present. The players in the current England side are too busy loving themselves to have any respect for anyone else.

Urban Hat€monger ? 09-08-2005 09:26 AM

I was thinking of having Stuart Pearce in the kind of Steve McLaren role rather than being the actual manager.

I don`t think Bobby Robson has lost it , look how Newcastle slumped after he left.I think he was holding that team a lot better than people gave him credit for.

franscar 09-08-2005 09:53 AM

I think you don't give Graeme Souness enough credit. He played his part in turning Newcastle into the shambles they were last season.

The last time there was a knee-jerk reaction in firing and hiring an England manager we ended up with Keegan. I don't want that to happen again.
