^Yes we are.
That movie was brilliant, and yes they were all "*** and stuff"

riseagainstrocks 01-03-2006 02:52 PM

City of Lost Children.

one of the weirdest movies of all time. and one of the best.

cardboard adolescent 01-03-2006 03:54 PM

The Big Lebowski is a great movie, along with most of the Coen brothers' other movies. Tarantino is great, though I don't watch any of his movies on a regular basis. The Boondock Saints is another great movie, as well as Donnie Darko, SLC Punk, The Wall, STAR WARS, and some other **** that I'm leaving out. (Like the Evil Dead! That movie is ****ing terrifying)

And of course, Half Baked is classic.

IamAlejo 01-03-2006 06:33 PM

Requiem for a Dream is a real good choice.

I'm just partial to American History X, cause everytime they knock the **** out of that first lady when the raid the little marketplace, I have to rewind and watch it over and over again. It makes me laugh everytime.

I think I was the only person that cried in the entire cinema. Great..

Me 2. But not the crying. Just the viewing of it. As in. I saw Kong too.

It was good, the t-rex battle was the best bit. And how in the hell did they get the massive ape back to land on their heap of shit boat.

I think they screwed up the death of Kong a bit much though. As he fell from the building they cut to Anne and that guy having a hug. Kinda takes away from the whole sad thing. Do you remember Joe Mighty? That was sadder and Joe didn't even die.

Cool special effects though.

That is by far one of the weirdest movies that I have seen in my life.

Kurt_Cobain 01-04-2006 05:13 AM

K, it's old now, but Million Dollar Baby, I just watched it, it's amazing! Washed up, trailer trash gets trained by Clint Eastwood to be a boxer, and later has to deal with other issues (not spoiling if you haven't seen) Sooo emotinal, yeah, I cried like a b!tch. Morgan Freemon stars and narrated, and if you'ver ever seen Shawshank Redemption, you'll know its worth the watch just for his narrating.

Haha I agree with the maggot bit. When they're stuck in that canyon thingy?
The Diplodidius bit was just cool.

The island people were pretty narly. Trust Jackson to go all Lord of the Rings on their costumes and makeup though. Crazy ****ers.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 01-04-2006 02:55 PM

Ewww those fapping island people.. They were nasteh. And, that bit where she's in the log and that bug starts goin for her face..

I was literally squirming :(

Merkaba 01-04-2006 03:14 PM

Ahaha the only thing that came close to making me squirm were the oversized Mosquito thingies. Stupid buzzing sound it creeps me out.

Dude easily one of the funniest movies ever

Turpentine Chaser 01-04-2006 05:34 PM

Dirty Dancing.

I Loves me some Patrick Swayze.

i am not emo 01-04-2006 07:05 PM

I went to see The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe a couple of weeks ago, and seeing as it's my favourite book I was hoping I wouldn't be dissapointed.
I wasn't, I thought it was a really good movie. The kids were exactly like i had imagined them in my head and I thought they'd used just the right amount of animatronics and CGI to make Aslan believeable. Definately one to keep when the dvd comes out.

riseagainstrocks 01-04-2006 07:15 PM

Fo Sho. It was very well done. Minus the wolves catching up with them at the river. That was stupid. And not in the book. Liars.

simplesimplicity 01-05-2006 01:35 AM

I saw Narnia and really liked it, the special effects were really good, although there were some parts of it that I dont remember being in the book.
Also I recently bought Saw and loooved it, I just adore gory movies. If you like really twisted and gory then check out a movie called May, one of my all time favourites!

Levithan 01-05-2006 03:22 AM

The only problem with Narnia was some of the acting...To be fair you dont expect much from child actors anyway, but their just so bad...Anyways, ive recently been bought Napolean Dynamite...man thats funny

Merkaba 01-05-2006 03:04 PM

Troy is kinda crappy.

The bit at the start is probably the coolest bit. Where he just annihilates that big fella.

But what a crap way to die. Stupid Archillies tendon.

sleepy jack 01-05-2006 03:06 PM

I just watched the spiderman movie last night.
What a crappy film they didn't follow the original story line at all.

Sabgoat 01-05-2006 03:26 PM

If you liked the first 3, the new one is not going to be good for you. It is more of a dark and weird movie. The first 3 were funny and looked colourful

Sabgoat 01-05-2006 05:52 PM

i can do dark and weird. i'm just worried about this "new batman" the guy who plays him can he live up to last two?? hmmm!

sleepy jack 01-05-2006 05:54 PM

Uh, he easily could.
The first 3 batman movies sucked.

madeinNY 01-05-2006 06:04 PM

holdfasthope 01-06-2006 06:24 AM

i think jibber meant it as in, the the entire movie was completly based on a comic book.

Anywho, i think my favourtie movie would have to go to Matrix. I love the whole trilogy, i think its awesome.

madeinNY 01-06-2006 10:13 AM

Matrix kicked ass.

Ooo, that yellow bastard, Sabrina, he was a nasty little ****er, wasn't he?

Ya know what else was awesome? King Kong..I sobbed. Exorcism of Emily Rose was also kick ass.
