Why do you think that? I love it, just the way he describes what's going on

i love hunter thompson. one of my favourite writers, ever. i hate how you refered to it as a "depp movie". its directed by terry gilliam, who also did 'brazil' which is also awesome.
the book is amazing. shut up. |
The book is amazing, the movie is dreadful http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...ap/erotic4.gif

still have to read the book, but i loved the movies, just watch it while stoned, it actually killed my buzz seriously.
and piper, no thats not cute, at all. |
The book was so bad. It decided that instead of actually having plot continuity it would just talk about drugs some more. And when there was nothing for the characters to do, they took drugs.
I really felt like the story was blips on a map between vast stretches of boring drug episodes. its not even funny or exciting drug taking episodes. "I took [drug] and saw this ****..." No thanks. |
I found the movie almost painful to watch. UGGHH!
|
yeah, the movie was pretty painful... but then I've never done drugs, so maybe there's a different perspective on it. Even so, it sucked imo.

^ i hate it when people only like movies because they have johnny depp in them. pirates of the caribbean was boring, and i didnt like finding neverland.
ed wood is cool though. me = bad mood. excuse me badmouth. ----- and the book was a true story, all that actually happened to hunter. theyre not characters. and it originally was published in book form, it was put it parts in rolling stone magazine, the book is a compliation. so don't think of it as a whole story, with plot, ending, it was more of a diary entry written afterwards. |
