I've only read two prior to that one, Cat's Cradle and Breakfast of champions, but they've all been great. The only reason I'm not devouring everything he's written is that I don't want to burn out. So:

Have you read Earthsea?^

I can't remember the specific books, but it was a great series.

http://www.marshall.edu/library/bann...hterhouse5.jpg I'm having to read Slaughterhouse-Five for my english class, not that I mind of course due to the fact that I first read it when I was in the 8th grade. It's one of my favorites, but my classmates aren't sure what to think.

Yeah, I've read the first three books. Opinions differ on the rest of the series so I'm putting those off for now...:\

Suffices to say the lady at the check-out counter was a little perplexed.

Yeah, skimming over them today I realise that the fourth was a pretty big departure and handled quite poorly.
Never read past there.

Yeah Faulkner has been called the best of the 21st, but I can't do it. I tried reading Sound and Fury and I refused.

I don't know what the appeal is but if anyone else tried doing that they'd be laughed out of the room.
