So, I've not been able to finish a book in awhile. I get to the very last pages of one and stop. I develop some weird anxiety that keeps me from reading the last of it. So far on that list are Vonnegut's Bluebeard, Kundera's The Farewell Party and Henry Miller's Tropic of Cancer. I've recently opened this one:

This is like Story of the Eye by Georges Bataille on crack. What's funny is that it was written over 200 years before Bataille published his story, which just goes to show that we've been sick fucks for a lot longer since the advent of video games and the Internet. |

I'm re-reading the Chronicals of Thomas Covenant by Stephen Donaldson. Not my favorite books, but definitely the most influential that I've read. There are 7 of them. Highly recommend them to you...its just kind of a different way of thinking though they do drag on a smidgen.
