This looks reallly good. It seems like the type of book I love.

Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
I'm only 200 pages in but it's really good so far. It's a little confusing, but still a classic that I think everyone should try.

my introduction to Palahniuk.

That was the book that kind of killed Palahniuk for me. Don't judge him too harshly by it, he's written much better books.

Fuck. I really need to stop paying attention the back of the books when they say "his best yet!"

I really, really need to read this, and read some Palahniuk in general. Heard nothing but good things.
