I'm probably only going to read this once through, but I had a gift card for a bookstore and decided to give it a try. A part of me is concerned that there's going to be an abundance of negative geek archetypes, especially when it comes to the Pen and Paper RPG games, but we'll see.

It's a Holocaust survival type story narrated by Death.

I think it's ****.

He's my favorite author. OK, was. I can't believe there aren't any more books of his I can read. This is the 2nd time i've read this book (read the rest about 3 times already). :banghead:

I'm pretty much a book warm, reading a lot, but still can't find any author that can match up. I mean, authors like Joseph finder etc are good and all, but they don't make me laugh, or think, or care, like Douglas did.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for an author from the same niche?... I'm hopeless :(

Terry Pratchett methinks.

Then why are you reading it?

Rickenbacker 12-27-2009 09:20 PM

I thought it would be good of course.

Nobody likes every album they hear. Why do you expect this to be true with books?

Oh by the way I saw you at the movies... it was weird.
