"77 Shadow Street" by D. Koontz. Seems to be a pretty good one though not really profound. However, this is just what I was looking for, since slaving away at the job has got me somewhat frazzled and my brains couldn't exploit Tolstoi's resources or Cervantes'. Before Koontz I read "The Razor's Edge". Supreme; S. Maugham's oeuvre is just beyond amazing.

Only just started, but it seems good, and cleverly written. I've never read so many footnotes in my life.

ETA: Huge pic, sorry. I haven't been here in so long I've forgotten how to post pics.

That's gotta be the first time someone reads the terms and conditions

Yep, pretty much the comical basis of the book :-D

The Waves by Virginia Woolf

I've never read any Woolf, but I heard that this was similar to Rings of Saturn which I quite enjoyed.

I have Game of Thrones and the first Divergent book. Still have yet to read them, though.

I love Virginia Woolf, my favourites are Mrs Dalloway and To the Lighthouse. Reminds me of my university days.

I started reading Divergent, but never got around to finishing the first book. I kind of lost interest 50 pages in.
