"It"-Stephen King

My friend lent me his copy of Infinite Jest, so I'm pretty excited to start reading that.

I'm reading a book about the history of birth control. Its back home, I can't remember the name of it, and judging by the cover design I'd say it was written in the 70s. The shelter has a lousy library- misoginist magazines and Safeway mysteries. It stood out to say tjr least and is pretty neat.

I like it. This isn't my first reading of it.

I could never get past the Gandalf part. Been meaning to just watch the movies, as my attention span barely held on enough to finish The Old Man and the Sea within a year.

i'm reading marx's das kapital. i hope to fully convert to communism after reading this book.

i read the old man and the sea in one sitting. it was very boring. highly UNRECOMMEND.

I see. For me, I like it when the book gives me that "curl up, this is gonna be good" feeling.

For more straightforward prose, I like Vonnegut.
