Definitely. These are both great examples of a director making a film which is a critical success, and then deciding to make the exact same film - stylistically - but with a deeper and more fleshed out storyline.

It may not be a fair comparison but i view Reservoir dogs and Pulp fiction in this same way, i haven't seen Reservoir dogs cause i saw Pulp fiction first and it's hard for me to appreciate a director's work if i don't see his films in a chronological order.

i mean, i can appreciate the films but if his later work is a better version of those films i don't see the need to go back.
That shouldn't be a problem seeing as Reservoir Dogs is better than Pulp Fiction.

Saw Poltergeist last night

If you were on the fence about seeing it...don't see it

There have been tons of disappointing remakes/reboots of horror movies in the past decade or so but this one just took a big steamy dump on my soul and then spit on it. Holy **** what a terrible movie

I'm with Josef that Reservoir Dogs is far better than Pulp Fiction. Both are great films but PF gets a little convoluted and because of this the character development isn't as well thought out imo. Reservoir Dogs spends more time really fleshing out all of the characters, when Pulp Fiction jumps around too much to accomplish it. Plus Pulp Fiction's ending is nowhere near as powerful as that of Reservoir Dogs.

Still, much like LSATSB and Snatch, they're both still great movies.

The cinematic ending or the story's ending?

The cinematic Pulp ends with Vince still alive and well. In the story ending Vince is dead and Butch rides off into the sunset.

Duh, what?

If it's a non linear story they're the same thing.
