I watched His Name Was King. An okay example of the spaghetti western. Nothing special. Sort of deceitful in that Klaus Kinski was hardly in the movie. Great soundtrack though.

The Dub Room Special is pretty awesome as well, but I don't like it, when concert footage is mixed with animation, interviews etc.
I want to be as close as possible to the live experience and Roxy is ****ing amazing in that respect.

Witchfinder General

Watched this a few nights back. Not a perfect movie by any means - the supporting actors don't always cut the mustard and the costumes look... well, like costumes; but the underlying theme involving power, violence, corruption and mass deception is as relevant as ever. Really good film overall.

Is the violence difficult to watch?

Watched I Saw the Devil last night. Excellent Korean revenge thriller. I liked it a little more than Oldboy, actually, although it's similar. Typical of Korean genre cinema, very bloody and brutal at points, but it runs on a tense script and takes risks that its Hollywood counterparts wouldn't dare. I give it an 8/10.
