Ang Lee is Taiwanese. I still haven't checked out The Ice Storm yet.

The last film I saw was a review DVD than I unfortunately HAD to watch, which was called Gwendoline... in the USA its called The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak.... and yeah, it's as bad as that sounds.

Do. It's one of those films that seems to slip through the net.

I'm about to settle down to Milk which I'm quite excited about, having omitted the Harvey Milk documentary which everyone says is world-class...

I watched the micro-budget (but nicely-shot) Primer a couple of weeks back, brilliant roots-sci-fi. Just an ingenious concept and twist on a familiar idea that really gets you thinking/confused. Think I got the recommendation from here. The 'time travel in Primer' diagram on wikipedia really helped to clarify things afterwards though...

Primer is superb. I loved every second of it.
