I saw Up a few weekends ago and though it is a great film, it certainly doesn't beat The Hangover in the humor department. Up was... sad. Were your tears of sadness or laughter?

First 15 minutes.
Sadness,
all of my friends laughing at me,
tears continue as I tell them to shut up.
Then I karate chopped one of them in the jugular.

Guess I will see the hangover this week once my exams are done.

The Hangover was actually a good movie.

And I'm not a comedy person. xD

After recommending them to Flower Child the other day I had to dig them out & watch them again.

They're still as great as I remember.

dan in real life was actually pretty good, except for the beginning of the movie, which i thought suffered from a rushed exposition and choppy transitions in the plot.

It really wasn't bad at all. The story was lacking a little, but the scenery and cinematography was pretty great if you ask me. I'd watch it again just for that. And I'm not a huge Nicole Kidman fan, but she was absolutely gorgeous in this film.

Contact.
I never liked this movie before, but I guess one of the writers of this had worked for the government in some form, and had insider knowledge of the Looking Glass Technology in the movie Jodie Foster uses to travel through space, which I guess was based on real technology developed circa the '70's.
