Yes, I like this movie. Shut up. I thought Dwayne Johnson did a halfway decent job being a prick Marine and Karl Urban is...well, awesome. And I like the first person POV sequence near the end. I like most sci-fi cheese though, so there ya have it.

I sat through this while I was hungover today. It was slick as hell, but boring like a mother fucker. Jim Jarmusch is cool, but Jesus tapdancing Christ, this a piece of shit, basically.

Hmm... I had know idea this had come out, but I love Jarmusch. I'll have to give it a watch.

Up until I saw it, I had heard very little about it which I thought a bit weird considering how "standout" it is.

Check out the trailer. It describes it perfectly.

I randomly saw this trailer recently and I've been wanting to see this movie ever since! I was also surprised to see it is already out on DVD... How could this fall under anyone's radar so much? Anyway, it's now at the top of the netflix queue.

It's a good movie and a funny comedy, definetly memorable. I think anyone who likes the trailer should give it a shot.

You can't be on a hungover and expect to enjoy a Jarmusch film.

Anyone who has seen this guy's website or the book this film was adapted from knows that this is some pretty hilarious material: think The Hangover with better cast, dialogue and one-liners and you'll be close to what I saw here.

That actually got some of the worst reviews I've seen in a while...

That's because they all miss the point entirely of what makes it a rather decent comedy compared to, say, Knocked Up (which, ironically, got plenty of critical acclaim).
