Thinking I'm not going to die in my 60s certainly does help me sleep better, it's true.

Look on the bright side - it's better to be over the hill than buried under it.

A slightly more on topic post...

My DVD buying is becoming unhealthy. I need to stop spending so much money on f*cking films.

Feel free to message that to me when I'm actually over the hill. My grandfather is 94 and still kicking so I figure that means middle age for me is at least my late 40s.

35 is middle aged, double that and you get to 70. 3 of my grandparents died before they reached 70, I just have the one left. *touch wood* She's a trooper.

You know you're middle aged when you have a mid-life crisis and do something retarded like buy a sports car, my mum's friend did that.

Er, no it isn't. But you should totally save that post and be sure to read it to yourself when you're 35.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary:

Quote:

the period between youth and old age, about 45 to 60

When I'm 35 I'll be having a mid-life crisis and firmly in denial. :D

I do know 35 isn't technically deemed middle aged. But I just see ages between 35-40 as middle aged. Though tbf my mum's friend did buy that sports car when she was 46 or something.

And I see that as hilarious. Seriously, save these posts for yourself so you can read them when you reach that age.

I'll remember how I feel now when I get to that age, though I guess it comes down to how you feel. I bet you get a lot of 35 year olds that DO feel middle aged. And I'm sure you'll get some 35 year olds that still feel 19 in their heads.
