Anybody being dragged to Sex and the City tomorrow?

My girlfriend is taking me. That said, Sex and the City, I must admit, is a guilty pleasure of mine.

:shycouch:

I'm still going to make her watch all three seasons of Entourage though. ;)

joderu95 05-31-2008 05:50 PM

That said it sounds like you're a fan and not really being dragged at all.

adidasss 05-31-2008 06:10 PM

First time I watched the show I loved it. Then I re-watched it all this summer on dvd and realized that Carrie is one psychotic, needy bitch. So no, no one can drag me to see this cinematic turd.

I've never seen one episode of Sex and the City but Entourage rocks!
I definitely wouldn't have to be dragged to see an Entourage movie!

I hope you and your girlfriend enjoyed the show! :)

CrackledNitro 06-02-2008 11:26 AM

^^Thanks. There were some pretty funny parts. But good call on the Entourage movie. My guess is that a script is already in the works after this weekend.

Sod that

For having to sit the whole way through that turd of a movie you should expect a cooked meal and a blow job AT LEAST.

I don't know about the movie, but the show is actually very good. Just not very manly, to say the least. Scratch that, not manly at all. :shycouch:

simplephysics 06-02-2008 05:16 PM

The show is about nothing but a bunch of pigeons who can't make a decision and need a good slap in the face.

True Fact.

True Fact.

And what is the difference between that and 99% of television today?

...reason why I generally don't watch that much television.

Ah, good point. Try The Office! :)

simplephysics 06-02-2008 05:31 PM

The Office is actually one of the few shows that I do watch. I usually have to work on Thursday nights so I miss it alot. Scrubs is a favorite too, may it RIP :(.

Yeah, quite a bummer it's being canceled. The Office is better though, and I hear their doing a spin-off! :drummer:

simplephysics 06-02-2008 05:45 PM

:O
Spin-off's make me nervous. I have a feeling its going to be about Jim and Pam's relationship.

Hmm...

Well, not all of the characters are going to be in the spinoff, if any. What I'm most worried about is it ruining what makes The Office so good. Or maybe, the writers may spend too much time on the spinoff. I actually liked it better when Jim and Pam weren't together. It created more tension and made season two the best season.

I haven't got into The Office as much as I would like, but I've seen enough to know that I am so in love with Rashida Jones...

I've got bad news, I think she was written off. She only appeared in two episodes this season. I like Pam better anyways, Karen is a bitch. Sorry Karen.

I agree about Carrie...but I do love this show. I'm not entirely sure why, but I do. I hate designer clothes, I don't sleep around, and I'm not a whiny bitch who dumps guys and then whines about how much I miss them, and I'm not a career minded go-getter but I just love watching this show. Maybe it's because it's so different from the life I'm used to.

Hey Crackled...when you went to see the movie, did you notice how many women were there dressed to the nines to look like the women on the show? It was crazy! They are no different than those crazy fools who dress up and hobbits to see LOTR or Stormtroopers to see Star Wars.

Skinny. 06-14-2008 08:31 AM

Even though the show is definently a guilty pleasure for me aswell, the only character that didn't send me into an inconsolable rage when I though about what a bitch they are, is Miranda. Probably just cause I have a thing for gingers though.

Molecules 06-14-2008 02:01 PM

the show's an insult to womankind. handbags and nail varnish. erm...
and to quote family guy (sorry) Sarah Jessica Parker 'looks like a foot'
