It was my understanding that they are two divisions of the same company, that's what I've been told anyway. I could be wrong and they might both be owned by a larger company.

If I'm not mistaken, Unilever or something owns the both of them.
I know they own Dove. But Dove is still it's own company.
But they have nothing to do with one another.

That god forsaken 'mummy i'm going to do a poo at Paul's' advert, i think it's for toilet fresheners... wouldnt be particularly effective in advertising the new Audi i suppose.

Yeah, Dove commercials try to be all empowering to women and feminist and whatever, while Axe ads pretty much tell you that if you use that product, every woman within a 5 mile radius wants to f*ck you.
