Just curious if anyone gets into the show True Blood? This season ended a couple weeks ago but I was really digging it. Left me wanting more

Just finished watching the final episode of The Wire. Great show! I have to give Pete props for nudging me to finally watch it.

You ran through that faster than I thought you would. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Just finished watching Suits. Unbelievably good show. Just so well written.

Forgot to add Ridiculousness is one of my favorite shows now too.

Starting here on Monday (season 5 I assume you mean?) --- really looking forward to it. One of my favourite shows.

And now I've finished season 1 of "Revenge". Little predictable at the end: it was pretty obvious
Spoiler for twist ending Revenge season 1:
the plane was going to go down
but a nice little twist right at the end, which makes me wonder if the writers were watching "Grimm" (or is that the other way round?) --- either way, looking forward to season 2. On a sidenote, next month sees the second season of "Homeland" beginning over here: definitely looking forward to that, and well timed, with the election getting into full swing.

Right now though, I don't know what to watch next. I'd like it to be "The Borgias" season 2, but as related elsewhere, I accidentally deleted the first four or five episodes, so am waiting for them to be repeated. Deleted "Alcatraz" as it was cancelled without a resolution, so current choices possible are:

Nikita season 2
Unforgettable season 1
Lost girl season 1
Being human season 1
The killing season 2
A touch of cloth season 1
Sinbad season 1
Fairly legal season 2
The newsroom season 1
Teen Wolf season 1

or I could do what I've been threatening to do for ages, which is catch up with either Supernatural (stopped after season 2, not because I didnt like it or lost interest, but because I loved it and wanted to make it last, stretch it out: that was, what, four years ago now?) or Spooks (still season 9 and 10 to watch). And of course, True Blood season 5 starts in a few days...

Ah, who'd be me? :)

Currently watching Fringe. Made it to the latest season. Being a sci-fi guy, it's really really my cup of tea. I wish it was a little less formulaic, but it's still enjoyable. I care about the characters, and the concepts and story lines are great.

If you liked X-Files, you'll like this. I recommend.

Also, I started watching American Horror Story recently. Went through the first season in like a week. It started out great, but toward the end, started to feel soap-opera-ish. The new season is supposed to be due soon, and I'll definitely check it out. Who doesn't like gory, over-the-top horror soap operas?

Gag. I watched the first few episodes of this show and then gave up on it. It was like a bargain basement X-Files, except where X-Files had a great horror element to it, Fringe tries, but fails miserably. They introduce some cool idea that's weird, or creepy, but about half way through the episode, they give you an explanation for it that just makes it into a boring science project.

I like the scientific part of it. I'd probably hate the show if it was just purely unexplained paranormal events. I look forward to either being interested in, or laughing at, the explanations and their basis in science.
The characters are pretty well done, too. Particularly Walter.
