WHY am I continuing to watch "House of lies"?? I hate all the characters, hate the idea that they're so smug about ripping people off (albeit large corporations who can afford it) by basically doing nothing and charging the earth, and I especially hate that little ****er with the big hair and nose who thinks he's god's gift to women. Even the girl is annoying, although she did stand up for herself in the last episode I watched.

And it may BE the last episode: I'm seriously thinking of not recording anymore.

About the only sympathetic character in it is the tranny son, who is funny and it's certainly interesting to see such issues explored, especially with a kid. But I'm not sure that's enough to keep me watching. Plus the stories are awful.

Anyone else watching this?

I'd never heard of it before this. I like Don Cheadle and adore Kirsten Bell so I am gonna check it out for sure.

I saw the first season, and I agree, it's bad. I have a weakness for snazzily made premium channel dramedies.

I've got season 3 and 4 on my computer which I still haven't watched yet. I really need to!!

*le gasp*

I don't know how you could have them on there without seeing them. Actually, I do because seasons 1 and 2, while excellent in their own right, aren't fit to wipe the bums of the last three seasons.

Oh yeah, Breaking Bad is one of the better, maybe even the best of these recent shows I've seen. It has a certain Coen brothers vibe.

Is anybody watching American Horror Story? Nice campy fun. The first season was all over the place, but towards the end it became really silly (and not in a good way). This new season, Asylum, may be even more over the top, and gory (we have mad house cliches, demonic possession, zombies, mad Nazi scientist, aliens, 'slutty nuns', serial killer, what else?...), but it somehow works for now. I hope the story arc is going opposite of the first season, from over the top to more focus. Anyway, I like it. It's fun.

American Horror Story does have its moments. Jessica Lange impresses me. I find it to be hit or miss also, but it does keep me watching.

Outnumbered, season 4. The kids have grown up a little but the show is still hilarious and cute.

Dexter, season 7, is going strong. Love it.

Last of the Summer Wine, finished watching season 18. Bye Foggy, still a season and a bit for Compo. A priceless sitcom.
