Not going to lie if Jake and Nog died in house fire I'd be okay with that.

But Nog is the Pinky to Quark's Brain.

Nog is cool but let's not forget Rom... ;)

I think I was thinking of Rom when I said Nog. Rom was Quark's dumbass cousin, right? Who married the short-haired Dax chick? It's been many years since I've seen the show so a lot has faded. Definitely remember it being the best Star Trek series though. Or at least by far the best for long-form storytelling.

Yes and no. He was Quark's brother. Nog was Rom's son, and therefore Quark's nephew. I think he referred to Rom as his cousin but they were brothers. Not quite sure how that worked, but being Ferengi you can be sure it had something to do with not sharing the profits! Rom was linked to Lyta, the Dabbo girl, but I can't remember if he married her. Don't think so.

I mean, which one was Quark's relative from the very beginning of the show who Quark tolerated merely because they were related even though Rom was functionally retarded?

Rom was.

And nice work de-spoilering that for poor old Raust! Talk about ****ing retards!

Oh yeah, Ezri. Maybe, don't recall. I didn't take much notice of her, and it was in the final season after all.

I was under the impression that Raust was rewatching DS9 simply because I assume anyone watching it in 2017 has already seen it.

I can't wait for the 2017 series to get started.

So I caught up with the Expanse, and oh my god.
Episodes 4 and 5 of season 2 simply blew me away. I really don't want to spoil anything so I'll leave it at that, but I also now know what I could add to all the praise I gave the show earlier: it makes other sci fi shows look like they were made for a teenage audience. And not in a "it's so boring it must be for "adults"" way ;)
Seriously go see it.
Also I have to say, Thomas Jane is a good actor. Or at least - he's a good actor here.
